Overhead Crane Services Idaho Falls

Two Idaho Branches, Statewide Reach

Boise covers the west, Idaho Falls covers the east, and Twin Falls sits between them. North Idaho is served as well.Same-day service applies across the state.

Idaho Techs Working Idaho Cranes

Our Idaho technicians live and work in the state. They are not dispatched from Salt Lake City when something goes down, which is what keeps same-day realistic across a state this spread out.

On call year-round. A technician is available every day of the week, including after hours.

Every Service, From Either Branch

Inspections, emergency repair, planned maintenance, load testing, modernization, and new installations all run out of Boise and Idaho Falls.

You are not routed to a different company for half the work, and the same equipment records follow your crane no matter which branch sends the truck.

OSHA and ASME Inspections Across Idaho

Annual inspection is mandated, and CICB-certified inspectors handle monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual intervals on any make.

You get a written report naming every deficiency, and with a PO on-site many corrections happen before the truck leaves.

Load Testing Anywhere in the State

We haul our own test weights on our own trucks and trailers to your Idaho facility, testing up to 125 percent of rated capacity, including cranes rated above 100 tons.

Lifts, holds, and directional travel are documented in a report you keep for compliance.

WHAT TO EXPECT

One call today, and your cranes are documented, compliant, and off your worry list.

Reach Out

Call the branch nearest you or send the form. Existing accounts get a ticket and an ETA on the first call.

On-Site Assessment

An Idaho tech diagnoses the crane and quotes the complete repair path.

Back To Lifting

Work gets done, the report goes in your file, and planned maintenance keeps it from repeating.

Planned Maintenance for Idaho Facilities

An annual service contract locks your hourly rate for twelve months and cancels anytime with no fee.

Visit frequency follows the crane, with older units and heavy duty cycles scheduled more often, and your full service history stays on file with us.

Crane Parts in Idaho

Common wear and failure parts ride on the trucks, and we carry CM, R&M, and Konecranes stock.

Parts quotes come back in 24 to 48 hours with same-day shipping on approval, and in-house fabrication covers steel parts an OEM no longer supplies.

WHY OUR CUSTOMERS DON'T SHOP AROUND

"In four and a half years, I haven't been disappointed enough to even think about jumping to someone else. I just don't think about going to another vendor for cranes."

- Richard Takashita

"It doesn't do me any good if I get a building done but I'm waiting on gantry cranes. With HOJ engaged upfront, when I open the doors, the space is complete."

- Jake Greenland

"Our directors talked about adding more automated cranes. HOJ came up with a pick-to-light system instead. Took weeks to install and cost a fraction of what an automation overhaul would have. They told us when not to over-buy."

- Terry Wright

FAQs

How often does an overhead crane need to be inspected?

OSHA and ASME require inspections on a set cadence: frequent inspections (daily to monthly) and periodic inspections (quarterly to annual), with annual being mandatory.

We cover monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual schedules, and we can build the full schedule around your crane's usage and duty cycle.

Who can perform a crane inspection?

Daily pre-shift checks are done by the operator, but periodic and annual inspections must be performed by a qualified inspector.

Our inspectors are CICB-certified and inspect to OSHA 1910.179 and ASME B30 standards, including cranes we did not sell or install.

How much does a crane inspection cost?

Cost depends on crane count, capacity, and site, so we quote inspections and planned maintenance over the phone and send a PDF estimate.

Our hourly rate is among the most competitive in Utah and Idaho, and an annual service contract locks your rate for the full year.

Do you service cranes you didn't install?

Yes. We inspect, repair, and modernize any brand and any crane type, including bridge, gantry, and jib cranes. We stock CM, R&M, and Konecranes parts and can source any other brand.

What's your emergency response time?

A technician is on call every day. In the Salt Lake Valley we dispatch immediately and reach most sites within a few hours. After-hours calls are answered by the on-call tech, with on-site response typically within 3 hours across our standard service area.

What should I do when a crane goes down?

Call us before attempting a fix yourself, which usually saves time and money. We diagnose the fault, quote the full repair path, and schedule the work. Our techs carry common wear parts on the truck for same-visit fixes when the schedule allows.
