Call First, Before Anything Else

Attempting the fix yourself usually costs more time than it saves.

One call gets a diagnosis started, a tech dispatched, and, for existing accounts, a service ticket and ETA before you hang up.

Dispatched Immediately, On-Site Fast

Dispatch is immediate in the Salt Lake Valley, with same-day response reaching as far south as St. George and as far north as the Logan area. After hours, the on-call technician answers and is typically on-site within 3 hours across our standard service area.

Boom trucks on every call. No scissor lift rental added to an emergency invoice.

The Failures That Take Cranes Down

Lost power, a bridge that travels halfway and quits, speed control that stopped responding, brakes that won't hold.

We see the same failures across every brand, and the truck arrives carrying the components that cause most of them.

Parts on the Truck, Repair on the First Visit

Twenty-plus years of service records tell us which components fail, and those stay stocked on the trucks and shelves.

In-stock parts mean repair the same day or the next. Out-of-stock parts get sourced through local vendors, often same-day.

WHAT TO EXPECT

One call today, and your cranes are documented, compliant, and off your worry list.

Reach Out

Call any hour, any day. The on-call tech picks up and dispatch starts.

On-Site Assessment

The fault gets diagnosed and the full repair path quoted on the spot.

Back To Lifting

The crane runs, the report is filed, and planned maintenance can keep it from repeating.

When the Fix Needs More Than One Visit

Specialized components like VFDs and hoist motors are ordered, not shelved, and some carry real lead times.

When that's the case, you get the honest timeline up front, the order goes in same-day on an approved quote, and repair is scheduled the moment the part lands.

After the Emergency, Prevent the Next One

Most emergency calls trace back to wear that a scheduled visit would have caught.

An annual service contract locks your hourly rate, puts your crane on a planned maintenance schedule, and keeps your equipment history on file so the next failure gets diagnosed faster.

WHY OUR CUSTOMERS DON'T SHOP AROUND

"In four and a half years, I haven't been disappointed enough to even think about jumping to someone else. I just don't think about going to another vendor for cranes."

- Richard Takashita

"It doesn't do me any good if I get a building done but I'm waiting on gantry cranes. With HOJ engaged upfront, when I open the doors, the space is complete."

- Jake Greenland

"Our directors talked about adding more automated cranes. HOJ came up with a pick-to-light system instead. Took weeks to install and cost a fraction of what an automation overhaul would have. They told us when not to over-buy."

- Terry Wright

FAQs

Should I keep running a crane that's acting up?

No. Intermittent travel, slipping brakes, or erratic speed control can fail completely under load. Take the crane out of service, lock it out, and call. A tech can often diagnose the fault the same day.

Do you take emergency calls from first-time customers?

Yes. Most emergency calls come from companies we already service, but any facility can call, on any brand of crane, whether we installed it or not.

How do I know if it's an emergency or a repair I can schedule?

A crane that won't run, won't hold a load, or shows any safety fault is an emergency, call now. Degraded performance like slow travel or intermittent controls can usually wait for a same-day or next-day scheduled visit, and we help you make that call on the phone.
